1. About this policy

This policy explains how ZENTRA LINK INC (“zentralk,” “we,” “us”) uses cookies and similar technologies on zentralk.com and the client portal at app.zentralk.com (the “Site”). It sits alongside our Privacy policy.

2. What cookies are

A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your device to store information. Cookies can be set by the site you are visiting (“first-party” cookies) or by another domain loaded on the page (“third-party” cookies). Cookies can last only for your current browsing session (“session cookies”) or for a defined period (“persistent cookies”). Similar technologies — web beacons, pixels, and local storage — work in related ways and are covered by this policy where we use them.

3. How we use cookies

We use cookies to make the Site work, to remember your preferences, and to understand in aggregate how the Site is used so we can improve it. We do not use cookies to build advertising profiles, and we do not sell information collected through cookies.

4. Categories we use

Strictly necessary

These are required for the Site to function — for example, to hold your portal session after you sign in, to protect against cross-site request forgery, and (if and when a cookie banner is implemented) to remember that you have already responded to it. You cannot opt out of strictly necessary cookies without breaking core functionality.

Functional

These remember choices you make, such as language, timezone, preferred dashboard view, or whether you last collapsed a side panel. They are not essential to run the Site, but turning them off will reset these preferences on every visit.

Analytics

These help us count visits, see which pages are read, and measure how the marketing pages and portal previews perform. We do not load any analytics service at this time; if and when we add one, we will update this policy and, in jurisdictions that require it, gather consent through a banner before any non-essential cookie is set.

5. Third-party cookies

The Site currently loads one third-party origin: Google Fonts (fonts.googleapis.com, fonts.gstatic.com), used to deliver our typefaces. As deployed, font delivery does not require Google to set first-party cookies on your device, but Google may collect technical data such as IP address; Google's handling of that data is governed by Google's privacy policy. We do not currently embed third-party video, support widgets, social-media plugins, or advertising tags. If we add such an integration in future, we will update this policy and, where consent is required by law, ensure consent is obtained before non-essential cookies are set.

6. How long cookies last

Strictly necessary session cookies expire when you close the browser or sign out. Functional preference cookies typically persist for up to 12 months. Analytics cookies are configured to expire within 13 months, in line with common industry practice.

6.5 Cookies currently in use

The following table reflects the cookies and similar technologies the Site sets or causes to be set as of the effective date. We update it when our integrations change.

Google Fonts is loaded from fonts.googleapis.com and fonts.gstatic.com; Google's font delivery as deployed does not set cookies on the user's device, but Google may receive technical request data including IP address.

7. Managing cookies

Most browsers allow you to view, manage and delete cookies through their settings. Commonly used controls are:

  • Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security → Cookies and other site data.
  • Safari: Preferences → Privacy.
  • Firefox: Settings → Privacy & Security.
  • Edge: Settings → Cookies and site permissions.

If your jurisdiction requires a consent banner for non-essential cookies and we have implemented one, you can revisit your selection any time by using the cookie-preferences control we make available on the Site. In addition, all major browsers allow you to block or delete cookies through the settings linked above. Blocking strictly necessary cookies will cause parts of the Site — in particular the client portal — to stop working.

8. Do Not Track

Because there is no consistent industry standard for responding to Do Not Track signals, the Site does not currently respond to them. We may revisit this position when a common standard emerges.

8.5 Global Privacy Control

California's CCPA regulations recognize the Global Privacy Control browser signal as a valid opt-out preference. We honor a GPC signal, when received from a visitor, as an opt-out of “sale” or “sharing” of personal information for that visitor — though, as noted above, we do not sell or share personal information. We do not currently treat GPC as a withdrawal of consent for non-essential cookies in jurisdictions outside California; if and when we deploy a consent banner, that decision will be revisited.

9. Changes to this policy

We will update this policy as our use of cookies evolves. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
